Day 1
Your Red Centre
Adventure begins with a drive through the James and Waterhouse Ranges
and the ancient Hugh and Finke River Systems on your journey to Kings
Canyon. Upon arrival we take time to explore the spectacular North and
South Walls, the 'Amphitheatre', 'Lost City' and the 'Garden of Eden'.
(In summer, walks may be shortened due to extreme temperatures). After
lunch, we travel on to Uluru (Ayers Rock) for our overnight stay in our
private campsite. (LD)

|
|
Day 2
One of the highlights
of the tour - the Uluru sunrise. The optional Uluru (Ayers Rock) climb
is rewarded with an incredible view of the rock and the changing light
of sunrise on the desert. This is followed by a guided tour around a section
of the base exploring some of the Aboriginal art sites. We visit Kata
Tjuta (Olgas) to wonder at the mysterious rock formations (one way passengers
may depart the tour at Ayers Rock Resort). After lunch, we return to Alice
Springs to relive your experiences over the after tour meal. (BLD)
