Day 1: Alice Springs - Ayers Rock

Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges. Stop at a camel farm for morning tea and later stop to view majestic Mt. Conner, before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. The afternoon is spent touring the Olgas (Kata Tjuta), then off to watch sunset over Ayers Rock (Uluru) and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort - choice of accommodation.

Day 2: Ayers Rock

Rise early for your optional tour (no extra charge) to view sunrise over Ayers Rock (tea and coffee included). You may wish to climb the monolith and will be rewarded with marvellous views. A tour of the base is also included and a stop is made at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Time is also available for an optional scenic flight. Afternoon transfer to Ayers Rock Airport for your flight. Flights must be booked to depart after 1.30pm (Note: Airfare not included with this tour).

Day 1: Alice Springs - Ayers Rock

Day 2: Kings Canyon

An early start this morning, drive through sandhill country to Kings Canyon stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own expense) along the way. Make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon to be rewarded with marvellous views. The climb may take up to 3 hours and is for the energetic. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder strewn canyon floor, an easier walk. After lunch (own expense) we make our way back to Ayers Rock Resort.

This afternoon travel to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 7.45pm.

Later tour around the base of this huge monolith, including a walking tour to Mutitjulu Waterhole. There is also time to visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.
